This section no longer exists. It was omitted by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017, with effect from June 2018.
It used to require a listed company to file a return whenever a promoter's or top shareholder's stake changed by two per cent or more. That disclosure is now handled by SEBI's own rules for listed companies rather than by this Act.
