Omitted

📚 Law Minded summary

This section no longer exists. It was omitted by the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2017, with effect from June 2018.

It used to require a listed company to file a return whenever a promoter's or top shareholder's stake changed by two per cent or more. That disclosure is now handled by SEBI's own rules for listed companies rather than by this Act.

Section 93. Return to be filed with Registrar in case promoter’s stake changes . [omitted]

by the Companies Act, 2017 (1 of 2018), s. 24 (w.e.f. 13-6-2018).
