Why Law Minded Exists
Making India's legal and compliance landscape accessible to everyone — one plain-English article at a time.
Our Story
India's legal system is complex, jargon-heavy, and often inaccessible to the people it's meant to serve. Founders miss ROC deadlines because nobody told them. Employees don't claim rights they're entitled to. Citizens don't know how to file an RTI.
Law Minded was created to change that - to bridge the gap between legal complexity and everyday understanding.
"Every Indian citizen deserves to understand the laws that govern their life - not just those who can afford a lawyer."
While exploring the Right to Information Act, 2005, we realised something powerful: every Indian has the right to information - yet most people have no idea what rights they actually hold. That gap between rights and awareness is exactly what Law Minded set out to close.
We spent the year researching, structuring, and writing - turning dense laws across corporate, labour, consumer and constitutional domains into clear, plain-English content.
Law Minded launched to the public - a platform where any Indian can understand the law, access free templates, and stay compliant.
Our Principles
Plain English
No jargon, no legalese. If a 12th-grade student can't understand it, we rewrite it.
Free & Open
Legal awareness shouldn't be a luxury. Our knowledge and templates are free for everyone.
Accurate & Current
We track amendments, circulars, and judgments so the content stays up to date.
For Every Indian
From founders and HR teams to students and everyday citizens - knowing your rights matters.
