Application for allotment of Director Identification Number

๐Ÿ“š Law Minded summary

Anyone who intends to be a director applies to the Central Government for a Director Identification Number, in the prescribed form and with the prescribed fee.

The DIN is the permanent identifier that follows a person across every company they serve, which is what makes disqualification enforceable.

Section 153. Application for allotment of Director Identification Number
