Alteration of articles

๐Ÿ“š Law Minded summary

The articles can be altered by special resolution, and that includes changing what kind of company it is โ€” private to public, or public to private.

Turning a public company private is the harder direction: it needs the approval of the Tribunal, whose order then has to be filed with the Registrar. Every alteration must reach the Registrar, who records it.
